Ammara Mushtaq, Principal investigator, Medical Director, Brooklyn Clinical Research

Dr. Mushtaq is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and infectious diseases. As the lead Principal Investigator and Medical Director at Brooklyn Clinical Research, she conducts research in therapeutic areas of internal medicine, infectious diseases, HIV, and vaccines. Dr. Mushtaq and her dedicated team are at the forefront of championing diversity in clinical trials, using innovative community-based approaches to promote inclusivity and equitable representation. Her passion lies in advancing access to clinical research, ensuring that all patient populations are adequately represented. Previously, Dr. Mushtaq served as a physician at the University of Florida, Gainesville, where she managed highly complex patients, led several studies as PI, and provided valuable medical advisory support to the pharmaceutical sector.
