Eileen Alden, Senior Vice President, Head Of Portfolio Strategies, U.S. Bank

As Head of Portfolio Strategies, Eileen is responsible for creating managed portfolio solutions for U.S. Bank Wealth Management. She also leads alternative investment analysis for the capital markets research team. Eileen is a member of the Investment Management Executive Committee, Asset Management Committee, Risk Committee and Ascent Investment Committee, and participates in U.S. Bank's Innovator-in-Residence program.
Eileen has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has been instrumental in developing SEC-registered hedge funds and has more than a decade of experience managing hedge fund-of-funds.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank, she was Director of Wells Fargo Alternative Asset Management, as well as the creator and head of Wells Fargo’s RiskOptics(TM) investment risk assessment practice. Other previous experience included conducting emerging manager research and new product development at an institutional asset management firm specializing in multi-manager products and managing a hedge fund-of-funds strategy for a boutique investment firm.
Eileen received her B.A. in philosophy (concentrating in metaphysics and epistemology) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is enrolled in the Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate Program. She is a member of the 100 Women in Finance organization and is a founding member of the Association of Women in Alternative Investing.
In her free time, Eileen enjoys writing comic books and screenplays, and discussing pop culture with her two teenage sons.
