Arun Mehta is an experienced and certified Enterprise Information Management, Predictive Analysis and Business Intelligence Senior Executive with more than 20 years of international experience (Denmark/ USA/ UK/ India/HK/ Singapore) in charting, heading, delivering and architecting complex Cloud Analytics, Machine Learning, Big Data, Predictive Analytic, Data Governance, Business Intelligence, MDM, CRM and Data Warehousing initiatives. He has been strategising and delivering the value of data in the complex Data intensive domains like Shipping & Logistics, Financial and Telecom domains. He has played various senior global roles in fortune companies like IBM, HSBC, Credit Suisse and RBS. He is currently heading the Data & Analytics Engineering capability and data transformation for RBS Group.

He is a technical thought leader on Cloud, Data Analytics and Big Data topics. He is a renowned and frequent industry speaker on the associated topics in the global forums and universities across Europe and South East Asia region (London, Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong).

He is a certified Prince2 practitioner, Six Sigma Green Belt, certified member of GARP, certified professional on various Microsoft, Oracle, Java, Teradata and Informatica tools & technologies. He is MBA Finance, Masters in Computer Applications and certified Advance Financial Risk Manager from IIM Bangalore. 

His specialism is in defining and executing the Global Delivery Operating Model, setting up offshore captives, BI/ Data Analytic COE and Vendor Management. He pioneer in creating Data Monetisation offerings using nimble analytics platforms on Cloud, leading data estate simplification agenda and driving the business cases to realise the value of data by leveraging the data science discipline.
