Mercedes is responsible for formulating and driving the company’s partnership strategy, managing non-airline programme partners and collaborations of key pillars, such as finance, dining, retail and hotel. Along with travel & leisure sector, Mercedes has also focused on the mobile internet and IT industries during her 20-year career, working in business development, strategic alliances, marketing, product management and operations across the Asia Pacific region, in particular Mainland China. Before joining Asia Miles, she was General Manager, Asia Pacific at Priority Pass, where she formulated an aggressive growth plan for the business lounge programme in China, and expanded airport lounge partnerships across Asia Pacific. Mercedes also ran the commercial businesses at Microsoft Enterprise Partners Group. Prior to this, she occupied a regional leadership position for expanding Intel businesses in China, Asia Pacific and the US. She empowered Intel to shape the largest ecosystem in China by pioneering Intel Software Park, developer and internet café programme.
