Kang who hails from Malaysia, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (Hon.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In his 22 years of working career, Kang has had many successes with large industrial and commercial projects throughout the region. Prior to joining NordLock Group as the General Manager for Southeast Asia & Taiwan Region, he had held senior sales management roles within ABB, Emerson and more recently APAC regional sales role in HITEC Power Protection. He is experienced in both technical as well as sales management and coaching, having taken up earlier roles in electrical maintenance, project management, and regional electrical consulting roles before switching to sales. He is knowledgeable in electrical, instrumentation & control, process safety, as well as in cryogenic and cement processes.
