Prior to Danburykline, Rob's career has been primarily in aviation, holding senior positions in British Airways including accountability for maintenance programme development and Planning Manager - Concorde. Rob left British Airways to set up a small commercial airline, before moving to Virgin Atlantic as Group Vice President - Safety and Security.

Rob has significant expertise in maintenance programme development in rail, including the integration of telemetry as part of a blended maintenance strategy. 
Rob is currently co-founder of Danburykline, a software and professional services company, supporting the rail industry. Danburykline is the provider of SOROS®, an industry leading SaaS application designed specifically for the management of maintenance and operational activities in rail.
