Oliver Lake, NSW/ACT Chapter Chair, Railway Technical Society of Australasia

Oliver Lake is the Chair of the NSW/ACT Chapter of the Railway Technical Society of Australasia, a joint technical society of Engineers Australia and Engineering New Zealand. The RTSA is a non-profit, member based organisation, established for the purpose of promoting the co-operation of academic, industrial, commercial and governmental organizations in relation to the practice and advancement of railway technology and management in Australasia.

In addition to his volunteer work with the RTSA, Oliver's professional experience includes rolling stock and rail systems projects across various stages of the system life cycle, including new fleet procurements, brownfield upgrade projects, maintenance and disposal. He specialises in interoperability, operational integration and systems integration. Oliver is a Chartered Professional Engineer in the areas of Systems Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, he is also an Associate Member of the IRSE, and a keen skier.
