SOME Mahiret E. R., is graduated from École nationale des ponts et chaussées in France. He is specialized in the urban transportation and railway systems. He has been working for 18 years in writing and implementing transportation politics with a one-year experience as General director of SOPAFER-B after working as Technical director for 3 years, director in charge of technical studies and the institution development for 5 years. During these years, it was for developing innovative strategies for better management of railway systems in Burkina Faso. He worked for SYSTRA, France regarding the implementation of studies and railway based projects, the participation to the improvement of SYSTRA activities in Africa. He has been teaching transportation logitics in universities of Burkina Faso and beeing a consultant for realizing several studies for evealuating projects, planning and designing urban transportation systems and related project negociation. Thus, he participated to the implementation of national development plan of Burkina Faso or writing project for the Dakar-Balako-Ouangolodougou railway line and that of Bamako-Koulikoro and Sikasso-Bobo Dioulasso.
