Mr. Shewangizaw Kifle Mulugeta has a vast experience. He has a track record of accomplishing development of different business facility cases. Mr. Mulugeta has overseen monitoring and evaluation and programme management of transport and energy projects with particular focus on environmental impact assessment, health safety and environmental quality policies. He has provided strategic leadership in railway construction, energy projects; infrastructure asset management, planning and capitalization and training. Over the last five years he has continuously represented his country in climate change negotiations at the conference of parties.
 
He is a certified Public and Private Partnership (PPP) professional. Mr. Mulugeta holds and MBA in Information System Management from Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) in India, MSc University Manchester Institute of Technology (UK), Leadership in ICT  and the Knowledge Society from Dublin City University (Ireland), a Master of Science in Petrochemicals and Hydrocarbon Chemistry from University of Manchester’s Institute of Science (UK), a Postgraduate Diploma in environmental science and technology from the International Institute for Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (The Netherlands) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Asmara University.
