Dib Mehdi, a visionary leader from Algeria, is the Chief Technology Officer and recipient of the Young Railway Leaders Award in 2023. With a decade of experience at SNTF subsidiary EPE Rail Electr, Mehdi has been a driving force in various Algerian railway network projects. During his tenure, Mehdi specialized in OLE maintenance and installation, Rail and Fastening Systems, Smart Stations, as well as Signaling Maintenance and Adaptability. His expertise and contributions have significantly impacted the efficiency and innovation of railway infrastructure in Algeria. Recipient of the International Railway Journal's award, Mehdi is committed to advancing the industry through collaboration. As a speaker at Africa Rail 2024, he is set to introduce an open-source project, aiming to positively impact the African Integrated High-Speed Railway Network while fostering collaboration for innovative solutions within African railways.
