The main mission of the French Trade Commission in South Africa is to help French companies get in touch with potential business partners in South Africa, either clients or distributors for their products and services, or industrial partners interested in investment projects. It is part of the international network set up by UBIFRANCE, the French agency for international business development. With 80 Trade Commissions in 60 countries UBIFRANCE lies at the heart of France’s public-sector export-support framework.
The French Trade Commission is actively promoting French electrical equipment, technologies and services on the Southern African market.
