Charles Ickes is the Vice President of Operations at Rent the Runway, a fashion company with a technology soul that is disrupting the way women get dressed. Charles is responsible for the for strategic growth of operations and process improvements for Rent The Runway’s 150,000 square foot distribution and processing facility and its 500+ person team.  In his role, he has led vertical integration of the warehouse with the opening of the largest dry cleaning facility in the US.  He has also innovated just in time reverse logistics for the sharing economy. 
Prior to joining Rent the Runway in 2011, Charles was the General Manager at Madame Paulette the most exclusive drycleaner in the Manhattan.  Where he oversaw all operational aspects of the cleaning and restoration of high-end fashion garments and furnishings. 
Charles received his BS in Computer Information Science from Florida Gulf Coast University.
