Mark is a co-founder of Mobi Safety Rewards, a Sydney-based start-up, dedicated to reducing the over-representation of novice drivers (16-25 years) in road accidents resulting in death and serious trauma.
This is an unsolved problem equal to any facing society (yes, even that one). In Australia and globally, road accidents most often exceed all other causes of death combined for this demographic and education alone is not working. But, we beilieve that there is an answer.
We are working with world leaders in road safety and services (AutoLiv) to create an app-based ecosystem of novice driver behavioral monitoring and mentoring via true AI and machine learning, backed by a genuine rewards program.
Mark has spent three decades in the Automotive industry, in the involved in B2B wholesale luxury and sports cars, then into senior management roles within volume auctions specializing in Government and corporate fleet vehicles. In 1996, he founded CarNet which provides marketing and operating efficiency consulting in this space. The last 12 months has largely been devoted to the Mobi project.
