Eric Hoarau leads the Flex Automotive segment’s emerging customer accounts and currently serves as head of Automotive innovation within Flex focusing in the growth areas such as Autonomous Sensing & Compute, Connectivity/IVI Solutions, Electrification/Power Management systems and Smart Tech Products.  (Flex’s annual revenue ~ $25B; Flex auto ~ $3B).   In this role, Eric is also responsible for new technology scouting as well as driving innovation best practice processes and technologies across the broader Flex Reliability segments.
Prior to joining Flex approximately 8 years ago, Mr. Hoarau was a lead researcher and product manager at Hewlett Packard Laboratories, where his research accelerated the digital transformation of the $200B commercial print industry solution group.  He has 28 filed or issued patents, as well as 29 peer-reviewed publications.
Mr. Hoarau holds engineering degrees from UC Berkeley and MIT, and a business degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
