Maria brings extensive technical expertise in the biologic therapeutics, cosmetics and CRO/CMO industry to Dendreon. With more than 15 years combined sales/technical/operations experience in both commodities and outsourced manufacturing services, Maria is responsible for accelerating Dendreon’s position as a trusted partner in the end-to-end manufacturing of complex cell therapies. Prior to her role at Dendreon, Maria served as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Phi Therapeutics where she pioneered the development of an OTC acne care line that incorporated a patented probiotic technology. Prior to Phi Therapeutics, Maria held business development and operations roles at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, a global leader in the contract development and manufacturing of biologics and cell therapies, and WuXi AppTec, a global leader in the contract development and manufacturing of biologics and cell and gene therapies.
