Set up in 2014 by the mayor of London & the region’s Academic Health Science Centres to drive growth and investment for the health and wealth of the population. We act as convener, connector and catalyst-identifying opportunities and pathways for businesses and researchers to work together to develop and commercialise the best innovations.

MedCity’s role as convener & connector for the region means we are uniquely positioned to operate the Advanced Therapies Network on behalf of London Advanced Therapies (LAT). The LAT brings together the scientific community working within the field of cell and gene therapies to foster collaborative work, facilitate commercial partnerships and create a microclimate for innovation.
