Govind Vedala obtained his PhD in 2019 in fiber optic communications from the University of Kansas, USA. Since graduation, he has been with SubCom focussing on conducting transmission experiments, signal processing, investigating fiber and amplifier technologies for next generation undersea fiber optic systems.
