Janina Löffler is an Assistant Professor at HES-SO Valais-Wallis in Sierre, where she works within the institution's research on sustainable energy. Holding a PhD, her research focuses on photovoltaics, nanophotonics, and thin-film and vacuum deposition, with work spanning applied solar-energy systems- including the analysis of spectral-splitting solar-tracker technology for photovoltaic energy production in greenhouses. Through her teaching and applied research, she contributes to advancing solar and renewable-energy solutions.
