Puvanendren M. Maniam is a senior executive with a cross-industry track record spanning sustainability, electrification, digital transformation, operations, and innovation-led growth. He currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer at eLoaded, where he is focused on advancing large-scale adoption of DC Grid infrastructure to accelerate electrification across Southeast Asia through scalable, grid-resilient solutions integrating high-power EV charging, battery energy storage systems, and low-voltage DC networks. He also serves as an Industry Expert with Atheneum, advising investors and global enterprises on innovation and growth opportunities across technology, e-commerce, renewables, EV charging, consumer electronics, and sustainability ecosystems. Over the course of his career, Puvanendren has held senior leadership roles across high-growth and transformation environments, including Chief Operating Officer positions at ChargEV, Music Tribe, and Setel. At ChargEV, he helped drive operational and engineering transformation, including ultrafast charging expansion, regulatory compliance improvements, and stronger partner and customer experience outcomes. At Music Tribe, he led a global transformation agenda involving AI, automation, and cross-functional operational modernization across multiple locations and business divisions. At Setel, he was part of the leadership team responsible for scaling business operations, partnerships, and risk management as the platform grew rapidly in Malaysia. Earlier in his career, he co-founded BeMalas/BeLazee, helping build one of Asia’s digital concierge businesses across multiple regional markets, and held leadership roles at Groupon and InnoLas, where his work covered regional risk management, customer experience, commercial partnerships, P&L ownership, and large-scale technical project delivery. His foundation began in advanced engineering and laser technology, including roles in semiconductor, solar, imaging, and R&D environments in Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, and the United States. He holds a Diplom (FH) in Optoelectronics and Laser Technology from Fachhochschule Aalen, giving him a rare blend of deep technical grounding and commercial-operational leadership experience.
