Tiger Fang – Founder & CEO, Kargo Technologies

Tiger Fang is the Co-Founder and CEO of Kargo Technologies, Southeast Asia’s leading digital freight and trucking platform. His career spans Wall Street finance, e-commerce, ride-hailing, and logistics, with a proven record of scaling ventures to billion-dollar outcomes.

Fang began his career with Merrill Lynch Asset Management, building a foundation in markets and client advisory. He then moved to the trading floors of IQ Investment Advisors, where he specialized in derivatives and options, developing risk management skills that inform his disciplined operating style.

In 2012, Fang joined Lazada, helping launch and scale its operations in Thailand and Vietnam. Lazada became Southeast Asia’s e-commerce leader and was ultimately acquired by Alibaba for over $2 billion. He then joined Uber, where he was part of the pioneering Asia team that launched and ran operations in Shanghai, Chengdu, and Indonesia. Fang helped Uber achieve hypergrowth across Asia, leading to its landmark multi-billion-dollar exits: Uber China merging with Didi Chuxing and Uber Southeast Asia acquired by Grab.

In 2018, Fang founded Kargo Technologies (卡高国际) in Jakarta to transform logistics across Southeast Asia. Today, Kargo digitizes trucking networks in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and China, enabling cross-border trade, electrifying fleets, and building AI-powered logistics software to optimize supply chains.
