Meiwardi has a vast work experience in renewable energy sector in Indonesia. Beside as President Director of PT Sakti Sahwahita Indonesia (PT SSI), he is as Business Development Manager of Indonesia for WEnergy Global to implement rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at commercial and industrial buildings as well as to develop renewable energy supplies for micro grids in rural areas. Previously, he involved in the United States Agency for International Development - Indoensia Clean Energy Development (USAID-ICED) program. He also has experience to work at PT Wahana Pengembangan Usaha, Widya Bhakti and Mandiri foundations, and PT Andritz Hydro. He holds Master of Science (MSc) in Sustainable Energy Systems and Management (SESAM) from University of Flensburg, Germany; Master of Technique (MT) in Industrial Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia; and Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) of Physics Engineering studied in University of National and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia.
