Zeinab Ibrahim is a Chemical Engineer with extensive experience in energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainable process engineering within the oil, gas, and chemical sectors. Currently serving as the Energy Efficiency Section Head at GASCO, she leads strategic initiatives to enhance operational sustainability, integrate renewable energy solutions, and drive environmental performance across national energy infrastructure. Her expertise includes energy audits, emissions management, and the implementation of innovative solutions that align with both corporate and national sustainability goals. Zeinab plays a key role in shaping the energy transition through the involvement in technical committees, inter-organizational collaborations, and policy-aligned projects focused on hydrogen, carbon reduction, and smart energy systems. She is a certified energy professional, recognized for her leadership, strategic thinking, and dedication to fostering a greener future. Zeinab is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, with a research focus on green hydrogen technologies and their value chains.
