Value proposition, problem solved and description : Not all transport can be electrified. Road transport in developing countries, aviation and shipping are unlikely to electrify or use hydrogen. Even if, the vessels, planes and infrastructure have a planned operational lifespan exceeding 30years and will be operating far into 2050. We need to decarbonise the use of the combustion engine. bio- & e-fuels are widely recognised as the solution. 

SeaH4 will farm seaweed in land based ponds along desert shores, to produce biomass as sustainable feedstock in large scale, to be converted into biogas. The biogas is split into CH4 (to be used as carbon neutral LNG or CNG) and CO2. The CO2 will be synthesised with green hydrogen from 3rd party producers in close proximity into e-methanol. This will localise and lengthen the hydrogen value chain for Africa and make the fuel transportable into the world in a stable fashion with relatively high energy density. These fuels can readily be burned by the existing ships (30% are equipped with LNG engines, 30% with methanol engines). At lesser profitability we can produce sustainable aviation fuels as well as e-diesel and e-petrol. The carbon neutralisation potential is at 3Gt per annum. We have the objective to produce an algae and  hydrogen based fossil fuel replacement, that allows the operation of current vessels as members of a carbon neutral fleet. The product can be modified to give any combustion engine a new life in a net zero CO2 world. The product is locally produced, creates local labour and independence from currency fluctuations or commodity supply shortages. This allows long term supply agreements at stable prices.
