GREEN Solar Academy is a solar training provider offering professional short courses in PV at our 14 academies across 9 African countries. We also offer the SAPVIA PV GreenCard Assessment at our facilities across South Africa. 

In addition to our accredited technical training for installers, designers and entrepreneurs, we run an established Solar Youth Training Academy aimed at preparing young people for meaningful employment in the renewable energy sector. 

We are also strongly committed to increasing women’s participation in the solar industry and actively create opportunities - through sponsored training, mentorship and targeted programmes - to support more women in building successful careers in solar. 

GREEN Solar Academy has been training solar professionals in South Africa since 2012 and is the 2025 recipient of the SAPVIA Empowerment Through Skills Development Award.
