Association Partner

Formed in 1909, the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) has ±6000 members professionally engaged in various engineering activities, including academic research, manufacturing, electronics, telecommunications, measurement and control, mining, and power infrastructure services. Members make meaningful contributions to the quality of life in communities and the steady advancement of technology. Their efforts are acknowledged in many countries worldwide. 

SAIEE strives to expand our professionalism and outreach in electrical engineering practices by hosting Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training courses offered through the SAIEE Training Academy, which offers various engineering courses in three different formats to expand knowledge across multiple engineering fields.

With assistance and leadership from and through their interest groups, sections, chapters, centres, committees and SAIEE council, they aim to continually improve our member value proposition and make maximum impact in the electrical and engineering practice.
