SolarBuddy is a global impact organisation committed to ending extreme energy poverty. We design and deliver innovative solar solutions, STEM education workshops and livelihood programs that improve educational, environmental, health and economic outcomes for communities living without access to safe, reliable energy.

Since 2016, we’ve gifted over 300,000 solar lights in partnership with local organisations, illuminating futures across 33 countries. Our programs prioritise the 660+ million people living without electricity, helping children study after dark, families save on fuel costs and communities reduce their reliance on polluting energy sources.

We believe access to clean energy is a basic human right – and we’re working to ensure no one is left behind.
