SolarBoost is a 2.7kWh to 8kWh battery wired in parallel under each solar panel allowing solar panels to produce more power than the lowest producing panel, unlike current solar panels. The additional power is saved in the battery rather than being wasted as heat in the lower producing panels, saving up to 15% additional power and increasing net profit by up to 31% for the price as a grid scale battery. SolarBoost requires no additional approvals or infrastructure, can be retrofitted in less than 2 mins, enables swap and go maintenance, its mesh networked controller enables real time monitoring of each individual solar panel and can start charging as soon as a string has been installed.
