Waqas brings over two decades of cross-regional experience in renewable energy, business strategy, and marketing, with a footprint spanning Pakistan and the GCC. He is the Co-founder and CEO of Hadron Solar, one of Pakistan’s leading solar energy companies, which has delivered over 24 MW of installed capacity across 1100+ projects. Under his leadership, Hadron Solar has scaled rapidly, with a tenfold revenue increase over the past five years. Elected Chairman of the Pakistan Solar Association (PSA) in 2024, Waqas has been instrumental in shaping national solar policy and addressing industry-wide challenges. His tenure reflects a deep commitment to accelerating solar adoption and supporting distributed energy solutions. Waqas’s prior career includes senior roles in management consulting and international business development, including his time as Head of Marketing at Goody Saudi Arabia, where he helped transform the company into a billion-riyal multinational. He began his career with Procter & Gamble and Henkel, building a strong foundation in marketing and strategic brand management. He is a published contributor to energy research and has spoken at leading regional forums including Solar & Storage KSA, The Solar Show KSA, and the Pakistan International Energy Expo.
