Muhammad Abbasi is a renewable energy strategist and technical training expert with 15+ years driving Saudi Arabia’s clean energy transition across Solar PV, Wind, Battery Storage, and Green Hydrogen. At NEOM, he leads vocational workforce development for the renewable energy sector, designing end-to-end training pathways aligned with global standards (NABCEP, GWO) and integrating immersive technologies (VR/AR). He has played a pivotal role in shaping the Kingdom’s green energy landscape—founding Saudi’s first Solar PV School at KAUST, leading national technician certification programs at SESP, and executing large-scale projects such as a 3.88 MW BIPV system for Riyadh Metro. His work bridges technical innovation, policy advisory, and capacity building, with partnerships spanning KACARE, MoE, GCC Labs, and Maersk Training.
