Vuyi Majola is an innovative transport sector executive with over 15 years of experience leading policy innovation, mobility transformation, and infrastructure development across Africa. Her work is characterised by strategic leadership in public–private partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory reform, with demonstrated impact in taxi industry commercialisation, green mobility, and urban transport policy. As a consultant and executive advisor, Vuyi has worked with national and municipal governments, including the City of Johannesburg, eThekwini Municipality, and the Department of Transport, contributing to major frameworks such as the National Land Transport Framework and the RSA Transport Just Transition Plan. Her professional achievements include launching South Africa’s first car-sharing platform, spearheading the establishment of a taxi industry-owned bank, and leading e-mobility and drone pilot programmes. She serves on the boards of Smart Mobility Africa and the National Transport Forum and is a member of the Presidential Johannesburg Working Group. Her work continues to shape equitable, innovative, and sustainable mobility outcomes across Africa.
