Tongwei Solar, based in southwestern China, entered the PV market in 2006 and has grown into a fully integrated PV enterprise, covering the entire industry chain. It is the first PV enterprise listed in the Fortune Global 500. Tongwei leads globally in polysilicon production with a 650,000-ton capacity and has topped global solar cell shipments for seven years, with a 95 GW capacity. In late 2022, Tongwei entered the module business and ranked 5th in global shipments by 2023, with a capacity of 75 GW. Tongwei serves clients in over 40 countries with modules for various scenarios.
