Michelle has worked in solar energy since 1996. She is currently CEO of PV Lab Australia, which has tested panels used in over many GW of farms across Australia. Michelle was also the CEO of Spark Solar Australia, an Australian company seed-funded by German experts in the photovoltaic field with the mission of raising funds to establish PV manufacturing in Australia. After completing her PhD at the Australian National University in 2002, Michelle did a post-doc in the photovoltaic group at the University of Konstanz, Germany.  She has twice held a world record for high efficiency solar cells.
