Michael is a strategy and economic consultant specialising in clean energy and industrial transition. He advises governments and industry on sector strategies and reform programs spanning domestic manufacturing, energy market and policy design, and the deployment and management of large-scale and small-scale batteries, solar, wind, and network infrastructure. Michael works across the full lifecycle of clean energy assets. On the manufacturing side, he has advised the NSW Government on battery, solar, and wind manufacturing strategy, and supported Powering Australia on their Horizon 2035 reports covering battery, solar, wind, and transmission and distribution manufacturing. In deployment and orchestration, his work spans utility-scale generation and Renewable Energy Zones through to residential solar and battery rollouts and VPP orchestration. He also brings deep expertise in end-of-life management and the case for circularity in new clean industries, covering offtake arrangements, regulatory frameworks, logistics, and end-of-life technology solutions. He has also contributed to regulatory assessments for major infrastructure and grant programs, and helped design workforce modelling and skills strategies to support the net zero transition.
