Matthew Power, General Manager Renewable Energy Target Branch, CER

Matthew Power is the General Manager responsible for the Renewable Energy Target Branch at the Clean Energy Regulator. The Renewable Energy Target is an Australian Government scheme designed to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases in the electricity sector and encourage the additional generation of electricity from sustainable and renewable sources. Mr Power has extensive experience in regulatory environments, with more than 15 years’ experience in regulatory agencies within Commonwealth government. Mr Power has qualifications in science and commerce and postgraduate qualifications in management.
