Mark is the CEO and Co-founder of Hunter Valley Solar Foundry and a veteran of the Australian venture capital industry.  He is a domain expert in the energy transition and clean technology with a deep technical background in advanced materials, including photovoltaics. Mark has served on the boards of and advised many growing technology companies including Sunman Energy that is responsible for the Hunter Valley Solar Foundry. Mark holds a BSc in applied physics and a PhD in materials science from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a supporter of the Climate Reality Project launched by former vice president Al Gore to provide education and advocacy on climate change.
