Lauren has over 20 years of experience in marketing, with specific expertise in digital communications and business-to-business strategies. After a decade of running her own digital marketing agency working across multiple sectors, Lauren has honed her focus to the energy industry in her role as Head of Marketing at Smart. She leads a team which is responsible for all aspects of business marketing from communications and PR to content production, digital marketing and event management. Lauren holds a BA in Communication Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Brand Strategy. She has been a board member of AWISE (Australian Women in Solar Energy) since 2025. She is a passionate environmentalist and speaker on topics as varied as communicating the energy transition, small business growth strategies and female leadership.
