Larissa Waters is the Leader of the Australian Greens and the first Greens Senator for Queensland. She took office in July 2011 and is the Federal spokesperson on Climate & Energy, First Nations Justice and Women.  

Larissa is passionate about protecting the climate and environment, a fair society and a clean economy which puts people and nature ahead of the profits of fossil fuel giants and billionaires.

As Leader of the Australian Greens in parliament, she is working for federal reforms for women’s safety and equality, transition to renewable energy, protect nature and work for First Nations justice.
