Emily Yip is a public sector leader with over 20 years’ experience delivering high impact sustainability and environmental policy and programs. Working across government, business and residential sectors, Emily has policy and program experience in energy and emissions reduction, sustainability, circular economy and resource efficiency. As the Director, Community and Home Programs branch at the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, Emily leads the delivery of key government initiatives under the NSW Consumer Energy Strategy, including the Solar for Apartment Residents program, Social Housing Energy Performance Initiative and the NSW Consumer Energy Resources (CER) Installer Portal.
