Carolin Kautz is the founder and owner of SinoVise, a company that advises businesses on geopolitical risks in their China engagement as well as geopolitical risk for businesses more broadly in the region. She holds a PhD in contemporary China studies with a political science focus and has worked in academia in Germany as well as at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. At UNSW, she among others teaches on international relations, global politics and security. Her areas of expertise include Chinese foreign and domestic politics as well as global security and geopolitical risk management for businesses.
