Bruce is a recognised leader in Australia's energy transition, with deep expertise in scaling consumer energy technologies from policy through to deployment. At Moreland Energy Foundation, he led pioneering initiatives including Moreland Solar City, EcoSmart Electricians and ZeroNet Energy Town—mobilising community, industry and government around practical, scalable energy models. He then joined GreenSync, where in senior executive roles spanning strategy, partnerships and operations, he was instrumental in scaling the deX platform to integrate distributed energy resources—solar PV, EV chargers and heat pumps—into the grid at commercial scale. Bruce initiated and co-convened Smart Connect, a nationally significant initiative aligning c-suite industry and government stakeholders to deliver consistent consumer energy resource integration across the grid and market. He continues to advise government agencies, utilities and technology vendors on energy policy, strategy and program delivery.
