I'm Remo Giovanni Abbondandolo, a business leader and public speaker with a strong track record of helping companies become industry leaders across the MENA, Africa, and APAC regions. I hold the position of General Manager, MENA at Checkout.com, where I lead the overall management and business strategy for the Middle East and North Africa. In this role, I'm focused on shaping the future of regional e-commerce by enabling seamless and secure digital payments, and leveraging data-driven insights to help merchants navigate complex payment landscapes more easily. One of my proudest achievements has been leading the effort to secure Checkout.com's acquiring license in the UAE. I'm now working closely with my teams to obtain similar licensing in other key markets across the region. My passion for innovation, combined with a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, continues to guide our efforts in driving strategic growth for Checkout.com throughout MENA.
