A.D. Villaos joined Vivant as a VP in December 2021 and is concurrently President & CEO of a wholly-owned subsidiary COREnergy. Prior to joining Vivant, A.D. was with IDI infrastructures, a Japanese energy sector fund manager majority-owned by Daiwa Securities Group. Prior to IDI infrastructures, he was a consultant to Philippines and European energy and infrastructure companies. He supported these companies in Indonesia and the Philippines on business development, project development, and on financing activities. Before A.D. ventured into the energy and infrastructure sector he was a coverage banker from 2007 to 2012. He was an Associate with Citibank, an AVP with Mizuho Corporate Bank, and a VP with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group. As a coverage banker A.D. supported leading Philippine energy and infrastructure companies through advisory and debt financing engagements. A.D. earned his MBA in 2005 with a Concentration in Finance from Asian Institute of Management (Dean’s List) and attended Copenhagen Business School’s International Study Program in the same year. He obtained an AB in Political Science from Ateneo de Manila University in 1998, where he also completed units in MA in Economics.
