Nilesh Wadhwa is Director New Venture & Transactions at Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Asia Pacific. In this role, he is responsible for establishing networks within local and regional biotech ecosystems and forging collaborations with academic institutes, scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs & start-ups for delivery of innovative products & solutions across Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Healthcare and Medical Device sectors.

Nilesh has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Nilesh has worked with companies such as Sanofi, Takeda, Banner Pharmacaps, Solvay in various country / regional roles spanning sales & marketing, in-licensing and business development, alliance management, strategy, and international business expansion.

Over these years, he has been instrumental in driving several strategic projects & deals across multiple therapeutic areas & multiple deal types – licensing, M&A and creative partnerships. 

Nilesh received a Bachelors in Pharmacy followed by Masters in Business Administration from Pune University, India
