Wesley Imms, Director Of Learning Environments Applied Research Network, University of Melbourne

Dr. Imms is lead Chief Investigator on the current Innovative Learning Environments and Teacher Change , and the recently completed Evaluating 21st Century Learning Environments  Australian Research Council Linkage Projects.  He also leads the recently launched Plans to Pedagogy project, being conducted in schools across Australia and New Zealand. He has secured over AUS$13M in external research funding since 2000 and run multiple workshops in schools, working with teachers to help transfer this learning into professional settings. His 80 peer-reviewed publications include scholarly articles, state and federal government research reports, and books on learning environment use and evaluation. Dr Imms’ current teaching activities include the principal supervision of more than 15 current PhD theses on learning environments, and coordinating seven subjects spanning curriculum and studio practice, innovative learning spaces, and Masters-level learning spaces capstone and teacher/practitioner subjects.
