Michelle Dennis, Head Of Digital Learning And Innovation, Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar School

Michelle Dennis is Head of Digital Learning and Innovation at Strathcona Baptist Girls School.  Since completing qualifications in Computer Science, she has long been an advocate for increasing female participation in IT, speaking at conferences and on national TV.  She has created an innovative curriculum for Digital Technologies from K-12 which has improved student uptake of electives by 400% in 12 months; highlights include VR Video Game Development, Robotics and Wearable Technologies, along with partnerships with Adobe and the League of Extraordinary Women.  She is an Adobe Education Leader, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and an alumni of the Educator Magazine ‘Hot List’.  In 2019, Michelle was listed as a finalist in the Edutech Asia awards for Best Edtech Leader (K-12) and Strathcona’s STEAM programs have been finalists in both the Educator Magazine and Edutech Asia Awards.
