Kathleen holds an MA in Applied Linguistics and Graduate Degrees in both Japanese and Education. She has been involved in curriculum development for second language education, and as a writer and curator in the development of digital resources for language learning. A passionate learner and teacher of languages, she has taught Japanese from Foundation to Year 12. Within her classroom, she has utilised online tools such as Classcraft and Gimkit to create a vibrant game-style environment – to engage students and enhance student learning.
