Iris Nastasi is currently Assistant Director, Teaching and Learning, Sydney Catholic Schools having been Executive Principal (Head People and Culture) in 2018. Formally, she was principal of Clancy Catholic College (2012-2017), a coeducational secondary school in South West Sydney. A new school. Clancy participated in the HSC for the first time in 2011 and moved into the top 150 high performing HSC schools in 2016 and was ranked 106 in 2017. 

Ms Nastasi was awarded a NSW Leadership Award by ACEL in 2018. 
 
Ms Nastasi is a member of the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Board. Her leadership has been featured in Education Review (February 2016). She has collaborated with AITSL around the The Value of Feedback and  and  been profiled as part of AITSL leadership videos in 2017 Developing a Confident Leadership Team.
 
Iris Nastasi's leadership has a strong focus on lifelong learning, innovation and critical thinking. She has worked as a teacher, executive leader and principal in NSW for 30 years
