Dr Grace Thompson, Senior Music Therapy Lecturer, University of Melbourne

Dr Grace Thompson is a music therapist and senior lecturer at The University of Melbourne.  Grace completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2012, and her research focusses on music therapy with children with autism, disability, and delivered within ecologically oriented strategies. Grace has worked with children and young people with special needs for over 20 years, is an innovative teacher, and has presented at numerous National and International conferences and workshops. She is course coordinator of the Specialist Certificate in Inclusive Music Teaching which will be launched in July 2020.
