As General Manager, E-Mobility North America, Zoë Baldwin is responsible for the growth and profitability of the Shell Recharge public electric vehicle charging network in the U.S. and Canada. This includes leading the development of a growing network of public charging points at Shell gas stations, EV-charging hubs, commercial destinations, and streetside in cities and municipalities. In this role, Zoë also oversees the Volta Media network, an advertising platform embedded in EV chargers that offers commercial properties and advertisers a tool to influence consumers while creating a more economical business model for installing critical charging infrastructure ahead of mass EV adoption. Based in Houston, Zoë brings a broad perspective of the energy industry, coupled with geographically diverse experience. She began her career in Management Consulting based in London, UK, and joined Shell as a part of the Downstream Management Consultancy in the Strategy organization. Zoë went on to hold a successive number of roles across the Downstream business in Mobility, Upstream, and Chemicals & Products. In her last role, Zoë was General Manager Marketing Americas for Shell Chemicals, and was responsible for marketing of Shell Chemicals’ traditional and sustainable chemical products in the Americas along with global leadership for Shell’s Performance Olefins and Performance Surfactants product lines. Zoë earned her Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Richard Ivey Business School. Deeply passionate about developing people and working with teams and customers to deliver outstanding results, Zoë has a proven track record of successes. In her spare time, Zoë enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her horse. She also loves travelling and working toward her dream of becoming an amateur showjumper.
