Shawn Kerrigan, Ph.D., is the COO and Co-founder at Plus. Under his direction, the company is building AI-based virtual driver software for factory-built autonomous trucks. Partners including TRATON GROUP’s Scania, MAN, and International brands, Hyundai Motor Company, Iveco Group, Bosch, and DSV are working with Plus to accelerate the deployment of next-generation autonomous trucks. Prior to Plus, Shawn was CTO and Co-founder of a hardware and software company in the solar industry. His earlier experience includes investment work at Bridgewater Associates, as well as strategy and operations work at McKinsey & Company.  Shawn earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Master’s and Ph.D. in Engineering from Stanford University, where he conducted research across engineering and computer science, and first worked with artificial intelligence technology.
